TrafficMaster is a Home Depot private-label brand. The same oak, hickory, or pecan words can sit on laminate cartons, Allure Ultra click vinyl, GripStrip adhesive planks, and LifeProof rigid-core lines that do not lock together. This page is a citeable ID reference for discontinued TrafficMaster colors FlooringFX has already documented with model, Internet, store SKU, or UPC strings. Photograph the brand strip and the model line before you buy leftovers or post a Match listing.
Laminate and Allure vinyl are different families. Laminate rows below come from Shaw-era Home Depot cartons (older ends sometimes also show Homer TLC marks). Allure Ultra is solid vinyl click. GripStrip is still an adhesive-edge Allure product sold at Home Depot in a reduced range in 2026 — it is not proof that every Allure click color is still available. ID gate before you buy leftovers
Match the carton, not the marketing words. Photograph the full carton end in daylight, then confirm each of these before posting or purchasing:
- Photograph the carton end — TrafficMaster brand strip, color name, model / Internet / store SKU / UPC when printed, thickness, coverage, and any dye lot / batch stamp in one frame.
- TrafficMaster brand strip — the strip must say TrafficMaster (or the documented Allure / Allure Ultra line name on vinyl). LifeProof, Pergo, Style Selections, and Harmonics are different families even when the oak/hickory/pecan words match.
- Model / Internet / SKU / UPC when printed — copy the full string as plain text. Verified laminate examples on this page include
HL704,34089,35947, UPC765894165180, and Dimensions marks8436004228287/281-454. Do not invent a code from an HD “similar items” suggestion. - Shaw / Homer TLC as laminate clues — FlooringFX decoder and index wording treat Shaw Industries marks (and older Homer TLC aisle marks) as supporting clues for Home Depot TrafficMaster laminate, not as a lock guarantee across dye lots. Pair them with the printed color and model.

Lakeshore Pecan vs Lakeshore Pecan Stone: Laminate model 35947 (item 1000054932) is not the same product as Lakeshore Pecan Stone model 50560 (tan/grey visual on the later HD title). Shared “Lakeshore Pecan” words will not make the stone color match a laminate repair. Photograph both brand strip and model before shipping money. Collision context: name collisions.
Hampton Honey Oak laminate vs Honey Oak peel-and-stick: The glueless laminate on FlooringFX post notes carries UPC 765894165180 (Shaw). Peel-and-stick TrafficMaster Honey Oak vinyl model HP0431N is about 2 mm thick (6 × 36 in., 4 mil wear) — a different product discussed on the same Hampton identification post. Do not mix them into one continuous floor. Neighbor Hampton Classic Oak UPC 765894165173 is also separate.
Laminate vs Allure Ultra vs LifeProof will not match: TrafficMaster laminate click, Allure Ultra solid vinyl click (~5 mm), GripStrip adhesive Allure, and LifeProof rigid-core vinyl are different constructions even when color words overlap. Allure Ultra (vinyl) — verified examples
Allure Ultra is a TrafficMaster luxury vinyl plank line (solid vinyl click), not laminate. FlooringFX notes ~5 mm thickness, square edges, floating click, and no foam/cork pad attached on the documented Ultra construction. GripStrip vs click will not interchange.

GripStrip is not “all Allure is gone.” FlooringFX Allure history notes that many thicker click-lock Allure products were dropped as Home Depot shifted mid-range and premium vinyl, while original GripStrip planks were still sold at Home Depot in a reduced range as listed on the GripStrip category page in 2026. How to use this page for a repair
- Pass the ID gate: photograph the carton; confirm the TrafficMaster brand strip; copy model / Internet / SKU / UPC when printed.
- Find the laminate or Allure Ultra row above. Search leftovers by the exact string first — then check leftover search channels.
- If you only have a plank, measure thickness (with pad if present), width, and length; photograph the click or adhesive edge and any back stamp.
- Ask sellers for a daylight photo of the carton end before shipping. Dye lots vary — see dye lots / batch codes.
- Closed Match listings (like Dimensions African Chestnut NEED 294) prove a carton string worked once; they are not a promise of open stock.
