Verified from FlooringFX Costco / Harmonics reference (page 342) only · eras approximate · last updated 2026-10-28 · one bundled unmarked row · no separate short SKUs invented
Brazilian Cherry, Cottage Oak, and Harvest Oak appear together on the FlooringFX Costco / Harmonics reference as one bundled depleted-list row. The hub lists their codes as Varies / sometimes unmarked on depleted lists, with status Manufacturer depleted (Harmonics). FlooringFX does not invent three separate short SKUs or three fake pattern pages for these names. This page is the single trap/ID hub that teaches the carton gate so Match NEED/HAVE posts stay citeable.
When a depleted Harmonics list shows one of these color names without a stable short part code, treat the color name + full carton brand strip as the identity. Do not assume Brazilian Cherry, Cottage Oak, or Harvest Oak match coded oak siblings such as Premium Oak, Newport Oak NO802S, Frontier Oak FO201, Harbor Scraped Oak HS202, or other oak rows on the same hub.

Identification (bundled unmarked row)
| Field | Verified value (hub 342) |
|---|---|
| Common names (one row) | Brazilian Cherry; Cottage Oak; Harvest Oak |
| Brand / line | Harmonics (Costco warehouse-club laminate; Mohawk-associated), when the carton brand strip says Harmonics |
| Part / model | Varies / sometimes unmarked on depleted lists (no stable short SKU in every source) |
| Status | Manufacturer depleted (Harmonics) |
| Hub guidance | Names appear on depleted Harmonics rows without a stable short SKU in every source. Use color name + plank measurements + photos when posting a Match listing. Skyline Maple is listed separately on the hub because FlooringFX archives confirm Costco Harmonics leftovers by that name. |
| Carton gate | Photograph the full carton end. Confirm the brand strip says Harmonics and the color string matches the name you need (Brazilian Cherry, Cottage Oak, or Harvest Oak). Do not invent a short SKU. Do not treat a similar oak or cherry visual on another brand strip as a match. |
| Locking | Many Harmonics runs used Uniclic; confirm the profile on a spare plank. See locking systems for leftover flooring. |
| Dye lots | Batch / dye-lot codes matter when mixing cartons; see dye lots / batch codes. |
| Name trap | Do not assume these unmarked names equal Premium Oak, Newport, Frontier, Harbor Scraped, Vineyard Cherry, or other coded Harmonics rows. Retail “Brazilian cherry,” “cottage oak,” or “harvest oak” strings on other brand strips are separate. See name collisions. |
How to ID an unmarked Harmonics carton
- Read the brand strip first. It should say Harmonics (Costco-era). If the strip says Home Design, TrafficMaster, LifeProof, Pergo, Style Selections, Select Surfaces, or a generic warehouse house brand, stop. That carton is not this Harmonics unmarked row.
- Match the color name on the carton to one of the three hub names: Brazilian Cherry, Cottage Oak, or Harvest Oak. Post that exact string on your Match listing. Do not collapse all three into one invented SKU.
- Look for any part / item / model string that is printed. Cite what is printed. If the carton is unmarked for a short SKU, say so in the listing and rely on brand strip + color name + plank measurements + photos.
- Photograph the full carton end (brand strip, color name, any printed codes, sq ft / plank count).
- Measure a spare plank (thickness with pad, width, length) before you post.
- Confirm locking on a spare plank. A different profile will not click in even when the wood-tone name looks similar.

Coded sibling pattern pages (do not mix)
These Harmonics / Costco rows do have stable codes or dedicated pattern pages. They are siblings for navigation, not substitutes for Brazilian Cherry, Cottage Oak, or Harvest Oak:
- Premium Oak: coded oak sibling. Not Cottage Oak / Harvest Oak by assumption.
- Newport Oak
NO802S: short part form on the Costco hub. Not interchangeable with unmarked Harvest / Cottage Oak. - Frontier Oak
FO201/ model33280-FO201: separate oak visual. - Harbor Scraped Oak
HS202/ model33283-HS202: scraped oak visual; separate from Antique Hickory and from unmarked oak names. - Vineyard Cherry
VC506S: cherry sibling with a short code. Do not treat unmarked Brazilian Cherry as Vineyard Cherry without carton confirmation. - Antique Hickory AH404S · Golden Aspen · Skyline Maple · Maple Select · Cabin Maple CM302 · Honey Maple 819263 · Spiced Applewood 1054504 · Toasted Cinnamon Oak 1203881 · Vintage Chestnut VC403S · Royal Mahogany RM203S.
Historic archive thread (hub links it for Home Design / Harmonics requests): Harmonics Antique Hickory archive. Prefer the AH404S pattern page when the carton shows AH404S.
Home Design rows (separate unless the label says otherwise)
The Costco hub keeps a separate Home Design Flooring (also sold at Costco) section. Treat those rows as separate from Harmonics-branded cartons unless the label says otherwise:
- Shortblock, natural finish · Item
#14492· “Residential flooring solution” · appears in restored Harmonics request copy on the hub; FlooringFX column points at the archive page above. - Natural Walnut · Item
#709873· also sold at Costco · same archive thread. Live hub row has no clear “Manufacturer depleted (Harmonics)” status. FlooringFX logged a gap instead of inventing a Harmonics pattern page; do not merge Natural Walnut into this unmarked Brazilian Cherry / Cottage Oak / Harvest Oak bundle without carton brand-strip confirmation.
Where people look for leftovers
- FlooringFX Match: post NEED or HAVE with carton photos and the exact color string (Brazilian Cherry, Cottage Oak, or Harvest Oak). Note when the short SKU is unmarked. Browse the Match board first.
- Mohawk outlet / factory closeout patterns: same path noted on the Costco Harmonics hub. Depleted lists may name these colors without a stable short SKU; they do not restock Costco warehouse colors for retail repair.
- Leftover channels: Marketplace, Craigslist, and other channels in where people look for leftover discontinued flooring.
- Repair volume: see how many leftover boxes most repairs need for typical repair bands.
What will not match
- Assuming Brazilian Cherry = Vineyard Cherry VC506S without carton confirmation
- Assuming Cottage Oak or Harvest Oak = Premium Oak, Newport Oak NO802S, Frontier Oak FO201, or Harbor Scraped Oak HS202
- Home Design Shortblock
#14492or Natural Walnut#709873unless the carton brand strip actually says Harmonics and the color string matches - Home Depot TrafficMaster / LifeProof, Lowe’s Style Selections, Sam’s Club Select Surfaces, or other house-brand “cherry” / “oak” strings
- Any “close enough” click plank with a different locking profile, thickness including pad, dye lot, or brand strip. See locking systems and dye lots / batch codes.
