Citeable Pergo XP color reference · facts only from published FlooringFX posts · last updated 2026-10-28
Discontinued Pergo XP laminate colors still show up in garage leftovers, liquidator lots, and Match NEED posts years after Home Depot stopped stocking them. This page aggregates only facts FlooringFX has already published for verified XP colors. It is a matching reference, not a store catalog, and it does not invent model strings.

ID gate before you buy leftovers
Match the carton, not the marketing words. Photograph the full carton end in daylight (field checklist: what to photograph on a flooring carton), then confirm each of these before posting or purchasing:
- Photograph the carton end — brand strip (Pergo), collection (XP when printed), color name, LF model string, thickness (with pad if listed), coverage, and dye lot / run stamp in one frame.
- Pergo brand strip — the strip must say Pergo. TrafficMaster laminate, Harmonics (Costco), LifeProof vinyl, and Style Selections are different families even when oak or hickory words match. Background: Pergo vs TrafficMaster laminate.
- LF model string when printed — copy the full
LF######as plain text. Verified XP examples already on FlooringFX:LF001002(Classic Auburn Oak) andLF000317(Highland Hickory). Do not invent a code from a “similar items” suggestion. - Thickness + pad + locking — total build including attached underlayment matters. An ~8 mm XP plank with pad will not sit flush with a 10 mm + 2 mm (12 mm total) Highland Hickory assembly. Brand locking systems do not intermix blindly; see locking systems.
Field map for carton photos: carton-end label decoder (uses Classic Auburn Oak LF001002 as a worked LF example). Lot stamps help within one model; they do not override a different LF string or thickness family: dye lots / batch codes.
LF-code cheat sheet (verified on FlooringFX only)
Photograph the full end label. Do not invent an LF string from a web listing or from a different Pergo line’s carton.

Only two XP colors currently carry published FlooringFX model strings. Additional XP décors stay off the table until a FlooringFX entry cites them. Neighbor (not XP) Pergo Traditional Living Antique Hickory strings LF000703 / LF000713 have a dedicated pattern page: Pergo Traditional Living Antique Hickory. They also appear on the name-collisions Antique Hickory row and on Lowe’s / Mohawk depleted-list notes; they are a different line from XP Highland Hickory LF000317.
Verified Pergo XP colors
Rows below are limited to FlooringFX product posts that name a model string and discontinuation note. Additional XP colors may exist in the wild; they stay off this table until a FlooringFX entry cites them.

| Classic Auburn Oak | LF001002 |
~8 mm with attached underlayment | Discontinued (Pergo CS via Home Depot, Dec 2022). Plank ~7.48 × 47.24 in; milled bevel. Pergo named Anndel Oak as a close alternative (not click-compatible without trim). Decoder example uses this LF string. | Classic Auburn Oak entry |
| Highland Hickory | LF000317 |
10 mm plank + 2 mm attached pad (12 mm total) | Narrow face ~4.87 in × 47.87 in; hand-scraped texture; embossed-in-register grain. Take Home Sample model PE-882882. No listed water protection on the published specs. Do not confuse with Traditional Living Antique Hickory LF000703 / LF000713. |

Will not match: Do not mix different millimeter lines into one floating field (for example Classic Auburn Oak at ~8 mm total with pad versus Highland Hickory at 12 mm total). Do not assume TrafficMaster laminate, Harmonics (Costco), or LifeProof vinyl will lock into Pergo XP, even when the oak or hickory marketing words look similar. Brand locking systems differ; treat them as separate floors and use a transition when constructions diverge. See Pergo vs TrafficMaster laminate and the citeable locking-systems table (Pergo XP brand-click row uses LF001002 / LF000317). Neighbor laminate lookalikes live on the TrafficMaster colors reference; they are not XP drop-ins.
Name collision notes (oak / hickory words): Everyday oak and hickory phrases repeat across Pergo lines and other retailers. Classic Auburn Oak and Highland Hickory do not currently share a dedicated same-name row on the collisions page, but “hickory” already collides: Costco / Harmonics Antique Hickory AH404S, Lowe’s Style Selections Antique Hickory, and Pergo Traditional Living Antique Hickory LF000703 / LF000713 are documented as separate products from XP Highland Hickory LF000317. Match the brand strip + LF string. Full cross-retailer table: name collisions — Antique Hickory. Dye-lot agreement still loses to a locking or thickness mismatch: dye lots / batch codes.
Where retired Pergo XP stock turns up
FlooringFX’s sourcing overview for discontinued Pergo laminate names three practical channels once Home Depot stops reordering a color:
- Mohawk Factory Outlet for remaining manufacturer cartons until a style hits the outlet’s depleted / out-of-production list.
- Closeout and liquidation sellers who buy pallets of retired product; inventory changes week to week, so the LF model string matters more than browsing by color name.
- Homeowner or contractor leftovers (marketplace listings, Habitat ReStores, attic stock from the original install).
Pergo has reused similar color names across XP, Outlast+, Max, and older lines. Thickness, plank size, attached pad, and locking profile must match the installed floor. Full channel checklist: where to buy discontinued Pergo laminate. Cross-retailer leftover map: where people look for leftover discontinued flooring. When a Match reply involves shipping a few boxes, read shipping leftover flooring boxes before promising freight.
Identify before you buy (quick cards)
Carton end
Confirm brand strip (Pergo), collection (XP), color name, and the LF model string. Photograph dye lot / run codes when present. Use the label decoder.
Thickness + pad
Measure total build including any attached underlayment. An 8 mm XP plank with pad will not sit flush with a 12 mm Highland Hickory assembly.
Name collisions
Everyday oak and hickory words repeat across Pergo lines and other retailers. Match the model string, not the marketing words alone. See name collisions.
Pergo XP vs TrafficMaster (context)
Pergo (Mohawk / Unilin) and TrafficMaster (Home Depot private label) sat side by side at Home Depot for years. They can look similar in a photo and still refuse to lock. Do not intermix locking systems blindly. Brand background and identification tips: Pergo vs TrafficMaster laminate. Verified TrafficMaster laminate and Allure Ultra rows (separate from XP): discontinued TrafficMaster colors.
The LifeProof vs TrafficMaster thickness / wear layer page covers vinyl house-brand constructions. It is useful for thickness discipline in general, but it is not a Pergo XP laminate lock chart.

FAQ
Is every Pergo XP color discontinued?
No. Individual colors leave the assortment while the broader XP line may continue with other décors. This table lists only colors FlooringFX has already documented as discontinued with a model string.
Will Anndel Oak lock into Classic Auburn Oak?
Pergo named Anndel Oak as a close alternative to Classic Auburn Oak but does not state that the two are click-compatible. Published FlooringFX guidance follows Pergo’s trim-between-floors approach.
Can I use TrafficMaster leftovers to patch Pergo XP?
Not as a drop-in lock match. Different brand locking and often different thickness. Use a doorway transition or keep the substitute in a separate room. See locking systems.
Is Highland Hickory the same as Antique Hickory?
No. XP Highland Hickory is LF000317 — citeable guide: Pergo XP Highland Hickory. Pergo Traditional Living Antique Hickory uses LF000703 / LF000713 on FlooringFX collision notes, and Costco / Harmonics Antique Hickory uses AH404S. Match brand strip + model.
Where should I post if I have a few leftover XP boxes?
Post a HAVE on the Match board with carton-end photos and the LF model string. Listing is free for a limited time (normally $10). Checklist: how to write a Match listing.
