How to confirm Estate Oak on a carton
- Read the brand strip. It should say TrafficMaster.
- Find the model
05HDC10065or SKU257063on the carton end. The color name alone is not enough, since “Estate” and “Oak” appear on many unrelated floors. - Measure a loose plank: 7 mm thick, 7-5/8 in. wide, 47-1/2 in. long, square edges. A beveled edge or a different length means a different product.
- Compare the leftover plank with the installed floor in daylight. Production runs can differ slightly in tone; see dye lots and batch codes.
What will not match
Other TrafficMaster oak laminates use different plank sizes and locking profiles, even when the color looks close. One owner reported Baltic Oak with a similar-looking code, 05HDC00009. It is a different color and should not be mixed into an Estate Oak floor. Current TrafficMaster oak laminates at Home Depot use different plank sizes, edges and locking systems, so check a sample against a loose Estate Oak plank before relying on one for a repair.

Is TrafficMaster Estate Oak still sold?
No. It is no longer stocked at Home Depot, so leftover cartons are the only source of exact planks.
Can I use a different laminate for a repair?
Only at a doorway or transition strip. Planks with a different thickness or joint will not lock into an Estate Oak floor.

I also has the similar situation and I try really hard to find a few box to fix part of my water damage area. It seems everybody is looking for that, but unfortunately it was discontinued.
I have a suggestion, does any of you has give up looking and decide to replace the whole floor. This way, you may end up with a lot of used, but still very good piece. Can you sell these here so people can buy.
