Letter O or zero?
Readers type this model three ways: MRO004, MR0004 and MR004. The carton string is MRO004 (letter O). The first three letters line up with the color name the same way DRO005 lines up with Dark Red Oak, two Original-line laminates that sold side by side. FlooringFX has not found a Home Depot document that explains the letters, so read them as a memory aid, not a rule.
What readers have said
In 2008 a reader needed 4 boxes of the strip version to finish a room and quoted MRO004 from the carton.
In 2010 a reader had 22 uncut planks bought in late 2007 and offered them to the board.
Nine of the reader mentions in the archive are offers of spare boxes, not requests.
26 approved reader comments on FlooringFX contain this number, from 2008 to 2016. Names and contact details are left out.
Finding MRO004 on your carton
TrafficMaster prints the model string next to the color name on the carton end. Older Home Depot boxes add a store SKU in the 3-3 format and a 12-digit UPC under the barcode. FlooringFX has no TrafficMaster label document to quote, so treat the TrafficMaster decoder as a reading guide and your own carton as the final word. If you have spare boxes, a photo of the whole label helps the person on the other end check run and shade.
