What Pergo tells you to keep
Pergo laminate sold at Home Depot carries LF model strings (LF000317, LF001002 and so on) on the carton. Pergo’s own guide adds a second place to look: the codes printed on the underside of each panel.
“Keep at least: one box-label; your purchase receipt; photo of all codes on the underside of 1 panel.”
Pergo installation guide, LMP (Unilin, international edition)
The Pergo guide FlooringFX could check is the international edition. It does not say how to match production lots, so compare panels side by side before you mix boxes.
Reading an LF model string
Every Pergo Home Depot model string in the FlooringFX catalog that starts with LF has nine characters: LF plus seven digits (LF000317, LF000845, LF001002). Some older Presto boxes use plain numbers instead (0119781, 04702). Copy the string exactly; one wrong zero sends a search to a different color. The Pergo XP colors are covered in Discontinued Pergo XP colors, and Pergo vs TrafficMaster laminate explains how to tell the two brands apart on an installed floor.
How to read it, step by step
- Copy the model string
Pergo cartons sold at Home Depot carry LF model strings, such as LF000317. - Keep one box label
Pergo’s guide tells owners to keep at least one box label. - Photograph a panel back
Take a photo of all the codes printed on the underside of one panel. - Keep the receipt
Store it with the label. Claims and matches both start there.
Post the model string and a carton-end photo. When spare boxes are listed, FlooringFX checks them against every open request. Asking is always free.

Questions about Pergo cartons
What does LF000 mean on a Pergo box?
It is the start of the model string Pergo uses on its Home Depot laminate, for example LF000317 Highland Hickory or LF001002 Classic Auburn Oak. FlooringFX has not found a Pergo document that explains the digits.
Where else are Pergo codes printed?
On the underside of each panel. Pergo’s install guide tells owners to keep a photo of all of those codes.
Is Pergo Estate Cherry the same as TrafficMaster Estate Cherry?
Not necessarily. Both names appear in reader requests. Check the brand strip and the model string.
