Trafficmaster laminate flooring is a budget flooring made by Shaw Industries for distribution exclusively through the Home Depot. Trafficmaster laminate flooring is inexpensive and recommended for the do-it-yourselfer who wants to try their hand at re-flooring a room. Trafficmaster laminate flooring is designed for residential and light commercial use. Trafficmaster laminates carry a 25 year limited warranty against staining, fading and surface wear.
Trafficmaster customers seem very satisfied with the look, durability and ease of installation for this laminate flooring. Trafficmaster laminates have a great look that closely mimics a real hardwood floor. It is easy to clean and impervious to dents and scratches. Trafficmaster laminates are easily installed by do-it-yourselfers.
Trafficmaster laminate flooring utilizes the direct pressure manufacturing technique which is the newest technology in laminate flooring. Through this one step process, the aluminum oxide wear-layer and decorative surface are fused together with the high density fiber board core and backing layer using 400 ft lbs of torque per inch. A chemical change actually occurs during the laminate process wherein a solid product is created. This solid laminate is guaranteed never to delaminate. An ultra-high density core is used for increased impact resistance and improved structural stability.
Looking for Trafficmaster laminate flooring? Take a look at the links above and on the side for great deals on Trafficmaster and for the hard to find discontinued Traffismaster.
Trafficmaster laminate floors use a state of the art melamine wear layer reinforced with aluminum oxide. Aluminum oxide is the second hardest mineral compound known to man, just behind diamond. When aluminum oxide is blended with special melamine resins, it produces a laminate flooring surface that is resistant to staining, fading and wear.
The decorative layer of Trafficmaster laminate flooring is saturated with melamine resins to create an additional barrier against staining, fading and wear.
The core board of Trafficmaster laminate flooring is produced with a very durable high density fiberboard core that is specially designed to resist moisture and impacts.
Trafficmaster laminate flooring is available in Honey Oak and Classic Oak styles.
Trafficmaster has been very popular due to the low price. [tags]Trafficmaster laminate flooring, laminate flooring[/tags]
Dear Sir,
I bought Verona Trafficmaster Flooring from Home Depot, I am very happy with the product except for how to clean it. What is the best way to clean it without leaving water stains. We did remodeling with required alot of sanding, I vaccuumed the floor and tried to damp mop it but it was leaving water marks. Could you please tell me the best way to clean it? Also I wanted to know how this product is as far as scatching?
Thank You,
Kim Minasalli
Thank you for your comment.
Take a look at this link for the care and cleaning of laminate flooring.
I bought the Trafficaster glueless laminate flooring in Color Rio from Home Depot about 6 months ago, and had a contractor come into install the product this weekend, but I am short 1 box. I checked nearly all home depot stores in my area and I was wondering if there was a vendor that I can purchase an additional box from.
The Trafficmaster is getting very hard to come by. I would keep calling. You may get lucky and find one. Also check the links above.
We purchased Traffic Master Honey Oak laminate flooring but we need to find 10 more boxes, could you please let me know where i can find them. Home Depot ran out of this clearance item.
Is there formaldehyde glue used in your product?
I am trying to find your nee allure resilient flooring in the sacramento area. please let me know where to get it.
Once I lock the laminate, can I delock it?
Thanks,
Gus Runte
Sure you can delock the laminate flooring. Be careful not to break the edges of the laminate.

I purchased TrafficMaster laminate flooring and installed it according to directions over six months ago. It
says 25 year warranty on the box. I cannot find anything about how to register the product for warranty.?? I cannot find
out anything about the warranty online. We are selling our house and I want to provide the buyer with the 25 year warranty
for the floor and cannot seem to get paperwork. Can you help? ASAP as we are closing 6-21-07
P purchased traffic master parquet flooring but am about 4 boxes short. I cannot find
it anywhere, and Home Depot will not let me special order it. They will not tell me when they will get any inor even when
they will order it. I can’t return what I installed and get something else. I can’t find anything that even comes close
to matching. All I get is tough luck. As a result, My bedroom furniture is sitting out on the porch getting rained on.
I installed traffic Master laminate throughout my entire house except for this room. I really liked the product
until this, but will never buy Traffic Master or anything else from Home Depot again. Terrible customer service.
I need 2-3 boxes of the TrafficMaster Sarasota Oak to finish a project. If anyone has it or knows where I can get it
please drop me a line!
I bought traffic master African chestnut. and have had nothing but difficulty installing. Following
directions, but it won’t stay together. Suggestions? Comments?

I am short one box of 356-148 Verde Stone. Pattern number is TM379. Is there any other place that I can get this from.
Home depot is out. I live in the Binghamton, NY area
Dianne Bain - Home Depot
in Deptford, NJ has about 20 boxes of this product (TrafficMaster Rio) on clerance right now (8/7/07) for about $22.00 a

Can
Traffic Master Allure flooring be installed on a concrete floored, screen in lanai in Florida ? Thanks
In Feb. 2004 we purchased and installed Traffic Master’s Noce Stone laminate in our kitchen. We need another
box and of course have been told by numerous Home Depot’s that they can’t help. Can you?
I installed traffic glue down engineered flooring tight at
the seam and butt joint. After 3 weeks the butt joint is opening, customer said the wood was to acclimate but absolutely
no where in the directions or on the box or Bruce Everbond glue is this stated. We are in an area of low humidity and 88#
temp. Any solutions?
I bought Honey Oak Laminate flooring from Home Depot, and we need some replacement
boards and they no longer carry the Honey Oak. Can you please tell me where I can get it. Thank-You
I am concerned with the continuing smell of this flooring.
You say it is made by Shaw Industries, where are
they? The box says Made in China and Chinese are not known for their quality control!
HI. I JUST BOUGHT THIS
FLOORING. I HAVE A QUESTION. AFTER YOU LAY THE FIRST ROW BEFORE STARTING THE SECOND ROW DO I CUT THE STRIP IN HALF AND USE
THE 1/2 AS THE FIRST PIECE IN THE SECOND ROW AND THEN THE FULL STRIPS TO GIVE MORE OF A REALISTIC LOOK? I HOPE YOU ALL
KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!! I WOULD LOVE AN ANSWER-
NOW FOR ALL THOSE IN NEED OF MORE BOXES THAT CAN’T GET
THEM-THEY HAVE A TON OF THIS AT THE NEW HOME DEOPT BY MY HOUSE. I CAN GET IT AND SEND IT TO YOU OR GIVE YOU THE PHONE
NUMBER AND MAYBE THEY CAN SEND IT TO YOU. JUST LET ME KNOW-I KNOW WHAT IT IS LIKE TO RUN OUT OF FLOORING IN THE MIDDLE OF
A PROJECT!
I AM IN FLORIDA AND WILL HELP YOU ANYWAY I CAN!
SANDY
Sandy,
I definitely recommend staggering your joints.
It will look better and hold up much better.
I actually do it in thirds normally. So a full roll, then a 2/3 row
and then the remaining 1/3 piece to begin the 3rd row.
This looks really nice and is very durable.
I
purchased the valley oak 578-350. Our 45lb dog has scratched the heck out of it, moving the fridge back has left wheel
marks, and I dropped a small china bowl and dented it. where do I get info about the warranty ? Do I go back to Home
Depot, or is there a website ? I have over $3500.00 in material and labor and I am very disappointed. 15 year warranty, my
butt!!
It really
isnt any wonder home depot is going down the tubes. Try to get an “associate” to help you find a match to flooring he sold
you 2 years ago and its all they can to keep from laughing in your face. All I can say is the joke will be on them when
they are kicking horse terds down the road while looking for another job. I will use Lowes now while they are still
kissing up to ex home depot shoppers.
I also just installed the Allure Traffic Master floor and
was very happy with it except it is still smelling strongly like chemical or something after almost 2 months. Any
information on whether this smell will go away ?
We’ve installed the
light color Traffic Master. Inadvertently in a couple of places, the top surface (the laminate?) was scraped away with a
vacuum whose brush ws set to close to the floor, leaving an obvious sheen. Is there something I can use to restore the
dull finish>
I want to do
another room in trafficmaster Honey Oak, but Home Depot doesn’t stock it any more. In Sandy’s reply of August 21 she
said the Home Depot near her has a ton of it. I would appreciate help with a phone number and address of the
store.
Thank you.
To anyone still searching for more of the Traffic Master Engineered wood flooring in Heritage Oak. I obtained about 1000sq ft for a project which has now changed somewhat. I expect to have several hundred sq ft leftover, maybe 200-400. I am located in San Diego and would ship them if you want to purchase my leftovers for $1.00 per sq ft and pay for shipping. There a few boxes mixed in that are labeled Brookmere Oak, but they are all the same color. We didn’t decriminate when opening boxes and used both for the rooms that we did and it looks great. I will check back here for any interest.

I’m responding to your post. I’m very interested in 2 boxes of the Heritage
Oak. Please contact me at KML0816@sbcglobal.net. Thanks!
I am just having rustic oak installe. We moved heavy appliances over the floor with cardboard underneath and it marked the floor - - - gives a shiny scratch mark like a slug trail - - - gads, I hope there is some way to fix this. The floor isn’t fully finished and it is marked already.
Hi, do you still have the flooring? Is this the Heritage Oak that has a Honey Finish?? Thanks so much. I need as much as possible and I live in Central Coast California.

I decided to take up my Trafficmaster Rio floor to redo the job that the previous owner did. He didn’t do a very good job. It was easy to disassemble and then went back down without a hitch…except…I was short a few boxes. I had to search all over the state of Washington to get it. I finally found some and I bought 5 boxes. I only used two, so I have three unopened boxes of TrafficMaster Rio in my garage.
This message is to T. Santini who wrote on October 17, 2007 that they have some extra Heritage Oak Traffic Master and they are looking to sell it. I too, am in San Diego and I need 100-125 sguare feet more. Please let me know if this is still available
If you still have any of the Heritage Oak Traffic Master and looking to sell it, email me at info@kayjo.com.
Hello Eleanor,
I have been looking for three boxes of tuscan cherry for over three years now. I would buy them from you and pay for the shipping. Can you ship them to Topeka, KS? please let me know ASAP because I am more than frustrated.
thanks
I have 22 boxes of African Chestnut Traffic Master. Oversupply. Anybody interested? Maryland
I am redoing my basement flooring and am 8 boxes short, like many others here, of the Traffic Master “RIO”. Anything would be great!! Please e-mail at mountain_luv@yahoo.com
To Lerna who lives in Topeka, I am probably buying around 15 boxes of trafficmaster WILD cherry. I’d be happy to send you a sample if you’d like. I think that it is around 360 square feet, and I actually only need around 200 of it. The stuff is located down in Independence Missouri. I’m up I-29 in Tabor, IA, about 45 minutes north of the iowa/missouri border. I just retired from the military (medical retirement due to getting shot up in Iraq for the fourth time now..once in 1990, once in 1997 in the Dhahran bombing, once in 2003 for the beginning of gulf war II, and then again in 2006). My wife decided to retire ME this week (She had two kids outside the marriage between my last two tours, so it isn’t a big suprise). So I have to fix up the house I paid for, so she can get half the $$ when she never did a thing to it, or made a payment. Anyway, we have to redo the kitchen floor, about 170 sq ft. I have the stupid peel and stick foot square tiles that somehow manage to SLIDE everywhere under high traffic conditions, but I just want to go right over that floor, and not have to rip it up. My email is beemer1@att.net. If I get this stuff, I’d probably be down to pick it up in a week or two and the surplus would be available a few weeks after that when I get the floor laid down and hold back a box or two for the new owners when the house is finally sold.
I hate to think I wasted the past 26 years fighting for a system that can screw me so hard. I’m losing EVERYTHING I worked for my entire life.. She could care less if I’m homeless..she said “marriage is just a piece of paper, and adultery is NOT against the law!” Yeah, not for civilians..but if I had done that, I’d have been in jail or facing a dishonorable discharge from the service.
Phoey.. If she pulled that stuff in Iraq, my neighbors would have stoned her to death and presented her cheating carcass to me personally..even Russia doesn’t have such insane divorce laws!

I installed trafficmaster honey oak laminate in 2005. Have been very pleased with it but am now in need of more boxes and after calling Shaw Company, who manafactures this product exclusively for Home Depot, have been informed that they do not have any more product and neither does Home Depot. I had a leak underneath my kitchen sink that I was not aware of until it had damanged my flooring so I am in desperate need of this flooring. If anyone has info of a place I can purchase this please reply.
Thanks

Hello everyone!
I can’t believe I found this website! I am so happy. We bought the TrafficMaster Honey Oak in 2005 and finally just installed it last year. We put it in our Master bedroom and now I have 5 boxes left to put in the closet of that room. Problem is that I love it so much I don’t want to waste it in my closet, I would love to put it in my dining room.
So I am looking for 5 boxes of TrafficMaster Honey Oak, definitely will pay reasonable price and shipping of course.
Thank you so much!

I recently purchased the Heritage Oak flooring and because of the unfavorable review of the product am hesitant of installing it. It has the 15 year warranty and up to this point I have always purchased flooring with the 25 year warranty. Can anyone say anything encouraging about this product? If not I will take it back and exchange it for something of a higher quality.
Also, if anyone has any of the Honey Oak for sale - please let me know. I am looking for about 3 boxes.
Thanks!

VINYL TILE HAVE BAD ODOR AFTER INSTALLATION!
Hello,
I have just installed two weeks ago Trafficmaster Vinyl Tile in my dining/living room. They look great, but there is one problem: THE SMELL IS TERRIBLE!
My wife called the company to ask if the smell was some chemical, and the response was that it is the GLUE.
The agent told my wife that it would take a month for the smell to go away. I am concerned because I have a new born and two small kids and my wife has astma…
Has anybody expirenced that smell (like sewer or 1000 band aids) and did it really fade away within a month?
Please, can some provide a good answer.
People purchase items at Home Depot, trusting the company. I do not want to think that they sell toxic tiles!

We are installing TrafficMaster laminate and are having trouble with the “clicking” of the tongue and groove. We get a two boards together fine and then when placing the third, the others “pop up”. What is the problem? It has been very difficult installing because of this. We only have 3 rows left to do in at 260 sq ft area, but it has been frustrating. Anyone else having this problem?

***WARNING*** If you are short of Traffic Masters Dimensions laminate flooring and find some on clearance at a Home Depot, make sure it is the same style.
We did 1200 square feet in the Sydney Eucalyptus and really like it. Looking at our floor you would never know we had 2 kids and 3 dogs.
We had 6 boxes left over but not enough to finish our basement bedroom. About a year later I found more of what I thought was the same flooring, so I bought two more boxes.
Now, 6 months later I’m starting to renovate the basement bedroom. Our previous flooring was classified residential and carried a lifetime warranty. The small print on the new flooring was that it was classified light commerical with a 35 year warranty. No big deal I thought.
Unfortunately the 2 styles are different. The tongue and groove styles have a slightly different profile and do not connect together. Also, the light commercial version is a fraction of an inch different in size.
Home Depot was of no help (as usual) and I will not be shopping there again.
Correction!! actually I just need 3 boxes.. anyone???
i guess my email address would help…

TrafficMaster Glueless Laminate -
I went to Home Depot for Pergo and mistakenly purchased the TrafficMaster. From reading, it appears there are lots of problems with discontinued colors; however, I have not read any positive or negative comments on the product itself (except the two refrigerator slugtrails).
I am wondering if I should return the cartons, pay twice as much, and get the Pergo? I plan on installing a floor next week in my daughter’s apartment.
Any testimonials on TrafficMaster out there?
Thanks, Tom
