A flooring retailer listing shows reorder status as “Unavailable,” and sellers of leftover boxes have described it as discontinued since at least 2023. Extra planks for a repair usually have to come from leftover stock, not a store reorder. Full carton IDs and Match links sit on the [Lakeshore Pecan 35947 Pattern Guide](https://flooringfx.com/trafficmaster-lakeshore-pecan-35947-discontinued/). Brand-wide carton layout is covered in the [TrafficMaster carton decoder](https://flooringfx.com/decoder/trafficmaster/). ## Confirm you have Lakeshore Pecan, not Stone The Home Depot later sold a product named Lakeshore Pecan Stone (model **50560**). Despite the similar name, it is a different color: the retailer describes it as a tan base with grey overtones, listed under a silver color family. Stone uses the same plank and box size as 35947, which is why the two get mixed up. Place planks side by side in daylight before treating Stone as a match. If original boxes or a receipt survive, model 35947 or the product name on the carton is the most reliable check. Without packaging: - Measure a loose plank or threshold piece. Planks should be about 7 mm thick and about 7.64 in. wide. - Compare color. The original is a medium pecan tone with no clear grey cast. - Look at the back of a plank for manufacturing codes. - Check the locking profile. Replacement planks need the same joint to click into an existing floor. ## Published specs for model 35947 Listings for the original Lakeshore Pecan give: - Thickness: 7 mm - Plank width: 7.64 in. - Plank length: 50.63 in. - Pieces per box: 9 - Coverage: 24.17 sq. ft. per box - Box weight: about 29 lb. - AC rating: AC3 - Water resistant: no - Attached pad: no - Country of origin: Germany - Warranty: 15 years Lakeshore Pecan Stone uses the same 7 mm × 7.64 in. × 50-5/8 in. plank and the same 9-plank / 24.17 sq. ft. box. Dimensions alone do not prove a color match. *Source note (as of 2026-11-05):* specs and the “Unavailable” reorder status come from the retailer / liquidator listings already cited on this FlooringFX page. A live Home Depot product-page recheck was blocked (HTTP 403) from this draft environment; treat store availability as still unverified by a fresh fetch. ## Where leftover boxes turn up After a product leaves regular retail, remaining boxes are usually held by homeowners, contractors and small resellers: - Local classifieds and online marketplaces - Community forums and neighborhood groups - Independent flooring stores and liquidators - Building-material reuse centers - The FlooringFX [Match board](https://flooringfx.com/match-listings/) (free to list): post the pattern and quantity needed, or list leftover boxes you still have via [I need / I have](https://flooringfx.com/post/) When buying from a private seller, check that boxes are sealed or that planks are undamaged, and confirm the model number. Shade can vary between production runs. ## When no exact match is available - **Similar wood-look laminates.** Look for 7 mm laminate in a medium, traditional pecan or hickory visual. Bring an existing plank to compare color and grain. - **Transition strips.** Install a different floor in an adjoining room, separated by a threshold or T-molding. - **Borrowing planks.** Move original planks from a closet or under furniture into the repair zone, and refill the hidden area with a close alternative. Lakeshore Pecan Stone shares plank dimensions but not the color, so it is generally not a direct replacement inside one continuous floor. ## Related reading - [Running out of flooring mid-project](https://flooringfx.com/running-out-of-flooring-matching-discontinued-laminate-vinyl/) - [TrafficMaster Saratoga Hickory (model 34089)](https://flooringfx.com/trafficmaster-saratoga-hickory-laminate-discontinued/) - [TrafficMaster page](https://flooringfx.com/c/trafficmaster/) for other discontinued patterns - [TrafficMaster carton decoder](https://flooringfx.com/decoder/trafficmaster/) **Short a few boxes of this floor?
