I gotta say, Home Depot is something. It seems we are all in the same boat. They sell this flooring on sale, then when we run out, if we don’t estimate how much we need correctly, then we are stuck to find the exact color we need. I don’t even remember exactly what color mine is. I think it is classic oak. I really liked the flooring for a while. It’s been about a year and I think it is starting to shift or settle or something. It doesn’t look as smooth as it did at first, and I’m not talking about the heavy traffic areas. Maybe I did something wrong. Definately not liking this situation.

and it is total crap!! I had it professionally installed and it’s gapping at the ends and looks like cheap garbage!! I’m in the process with Home Depot of filing claims against Trafficmaster for their inferior product!
Everyone is pointing fingers and passing the buck. If anyone out there is considering this product “DON’T”
you’ll be sorry. I’ve got over $1400.00 in material and labor and now I gotta rip it all out and it’s less than 6 months old!!! If someone is looking for Hamilton Oak to finish a project, I’ll sell ya what I got “cheap”.

I have about 14 or 15 boxes worth of Trafficmaster Albany Oak that I bought as a “special sale” product at Home Depot. My husband and I finished putting it down in our Dining room and hallway back in September of this year and lacked just a a box or two of finishing. We went back to Home Depot to get the rest, only to find that it had been “discontinued”. Home Depot refused to take back the product, saying it was over the 90 day return policy. So we are invested into this floor and are now in the process of taking it back up. NEVER AGAIN! We were trying to replace a few boards that were damaged after the floor started to separate and buckle, there are gaps all the way through the project, and then we only lacked about 1 or 2 boxes of finishing the entire project, now we are back at square one with the whole thing and are out the money we BLEW on this crappy product. Anyone needing any Albany Oak, e-mail me at slg2679@gmail.com – I have plenty to sell now! Anyone wishing to call Trafficmaster and complain can call (700) 888-5149. This is the # Home Depot gave us when we tried to complain, after the store manager got a little huffy with us for being frustrated, like we were wrong to be upset or something. Home Depot just lost a customer, Lowe’s will be where I shop from now on, and I will be sure and pass along the information to everyone I come into contact with.
